According to the book I've been reading, Ad Nauseam, I just missed "Talk Like a Pirate Day," which was on Sept. 19th. Well, maybe next year. I love this book. It is lighthearted but has some very good observations in it.But I was thinking it would be fun to think up a holiday, not a birthday but some holiday that would be worth celebrating yearly. Any ideas? I am favoring "Veg Out in Your Recliner Day," which would be a day enthusiastically celebrated by millions,. Me, especially.
Veg out in your recliner day? Just once a year? But I do that every day anyway!

I might vote for Wear Pantyhose Day, or Put On Makeup Day, except that one day a year might be too frequent. How about making those biennial celebrations?

Maria: Good thinking. In this climate pantyhose and makeup don't work anyway.
