What is behind the Trayvon Martin outrage:
"Anyway, what folks like Juan Williams and other racist apologist in A-merry-ca fail to understand, is that this case isn't just about the shooting of a young black man by some out of control vigilante. It's about a system of justice-- and those charged with upholding it--- that does not treat the lives of young black men the same way that they treat others. Most intelligent people in this country (black and white) realize that if Trayvon Martin and the shooter reversed races, George Zimmerman would be eating three meals on the County right now.
From the Field Negro.
I don't get it about Juan Williams decline and fall in liberal eyes. He wrote a book on the Civil Rights Movement which I remember as being a good illustrated history.A racist apologist? I don't think so.

A video of the suspect has been released, showing no blood or other trauma on his head. Whom are we to believe, anyway. Pictures speak louder than words.

Hank: Is it because he's working for Fox now? Has he sold out, in other words, and become what the Field Negro would call a House Negro? Oh, and of course it was saying this on the O'Reilly factor that got him fired from NPR:
"Look, Bill, I'm not a bigot. You know the kind of books I've written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous."
That is a bigoted remark. So he is saying of course you know I am not a bigot but between you and me I am a bigot.
Gigi: His story is fishy, all right.

Yes, he seems to have changed his tune over the years.

That is exactly it with what happened. There have always been trigger happy people like Zimmerman but when the system is so corrupt and doesn't treat us all equally, that's what has infuriated half the country. The other half are trying to justify the killing.

Rain: I can't get over how cruel people are about young people like Trayvon and how little they care whether young men like him live or die, whether by accident or as a deliberate target.
