This is such a nice urban place to be. I've been on my own today, just taking it easy. I went to a pho place for lunch and then took in a matinee at the movie theater: all of this within walking distance. The movie wasn't so hot, as the song goes, but the Majestic Bay Theater is nice, and it was a fun novelty to go to a movie in the middle of the day by myself. The movie was Five Year Engagement, and it tried to be all things to all viewers and ended up being kind of a mess but moderately entertaining. The BIG problem was the obvious lack of chemistry between the romantic leads. There has got to be that spark!

aw, how nice! When I was single, I often went to movies, concerts, operas, musicals by myself. I was such a loner. Now, I prefer to be with David.

Gigi: It was kind of fun and a nice pastime.
Cop Car: This theater was completely remodeled after being closed for a long while and is very popular now, as is this whole area.
