I can't imagine living in a place where almost 2/3 of the people own guns. Since most gun owners own more than one gun, and many own virtual arsenals, this means that Wyoming has way more guns than people.

My brother works for the police department in Honolulu and he says you would be surprised at how many people are lining up to buy guns. What the heck?

They fear guns will be banned with gun control laws. People were buying lots of AR-15s and the like after the Newtown massacre.

Reading long article January issue (before Newtown massacre) of The Atlantic. Writer proposed what is need are more guns, used wisely. Wonder what he is thinking now. Possibly the same because some people cannot let humanity override their "sensible" ideas.

Naomi: I read that article, too. Well, The Atlantic is not the world's greatest magazine. I like The Baffler better.
