Conditions were perfect at the Ahalanui hot pond in Puna. We went down there with our Mainland guests, bringing a lunch from Island Naturals in Pahoa.
They got completely warmed up. See how happy they look, and how relaxed?
Now it's off to Rueben's for a margarita and dinner.
Oh, it's a hard hard life we lead!
You are such wonderful hosts. No wonder people like to visit you.

Been too long since we've been out that way! We have been amazed at the number of visiting friends and family that want to visit us here! Many more than when we resided in Mendocino for ten years. We can't blame them, and enjoy sharing our beautiful world.

I do so sympathize with you and your pathetic little lives! *sighing heavily* Good for you!

We were down at the Hilo Saturday Market today, and it was JAMMED! There are lots of tourists now and two cruise ships in the harbor. And the Chinese New Year's Parade is underway downtown, but we're skipping it in favor of hanging out on the deck and drinking coffee and eating cake.
Annie: We plan to come up to the Laupahoehoe Market tomorrow and will try to be on the early side. Hope to meet you face to face then. If any changes of plan I'll let you know.

Very envious of all that sunshine and palm trees when all I see out the window at the moment is winter: dark, wet, cold, grey. Sigh.
But glad you're enjoying life and every moment.

That sounds good, I will be there! Glen could not find any coconut flour at abundant Life this week, but is scrami g to come up with a gluten free option as I type, such as rice flour. He will also be selling Hawaiian style banana pies and Granny Smith apple pies, and there will be some of my chutney and marmalade.
Looking forward to seeing you in downtown Laupahoehoe, "if can!"
Aloha...
