Hi, I've decided to move to Peru and start a new family and I'm not coming back. The alpaca looks like me and has my hair color. Been nice knowing you. I'll write. Love, Jim
Barbara: It would be quite an experience, I'm sure.
Toni: Yes, remember she was my boss. Can you imagine? And yet I survived. We even went out to lunch yesterday.
A friend of mine from college has suggested an "Upper Amazon" trip on the Delfin II. It's probably not feasible at this time, but, just in case, I'd still like to know an approximate figure for the cost of flying to Lima from Hawaii. If this is "private info," you might e-mail me at henryb@aloha.com if it's okay with you. If not, that's fine too.
One never knows what is private nowadays, or at least I don't. A friend of mind e-mailed me a fabulous report on his trip to Korea. It was so good, I forwarded it to my Korean-born, adopted niece on my brother's side who is deeply into her Korean heritage. I thought it was a major compliment, but the guy who wrote it took exception. I finally ironed it out, but I was surprised
Lovely new family I hope you're the elderwife.
XO

I think the Peruvians were more bemused than amused.

I wonder what those Peruvians are thinking. Hmmm... maybe you don't want to know.
