Of course, all that high-minded stuff is well and good, but cousin Jerry and I went nuts over this place, which was a collection of miscellany of dubious provenance. We took pics and tipped the owner. We LOVED it!
Before this we had yawned our way through an indifferent collection of "folk art" in some ex-pats fancy place. Why do people put up with such dullness? That can be the downside of living here, where you can build things according to your dreams. What if your dreams are mundane? And then what if you get in over your head and have to try to sell all the stuff you have accumulated?
Sorry I'm not keeping up with blogger friends right now. But I will visit every one of you as soon as I get back to Seattle. I can't even bear to think what my e-mail looks like right now. Oh well. Time to get going again!
