Terry got this great vid of a mama and baby whale playing in the Bay below our house.
You Tube makes it so seductively easy to put vids up on my account and cross post them to Facebook that I can't resist. I had been using Vimeo, but their videos don't play on all the platforms the way You Tube does. And it's free. I just can't turn down easy and free.
Oh, love this video! Have enjoyed seeing whales breaching as I watched from So Cal's Dana Point shore, but have never seen a little one, too.

Hadn't been here for a while. Glad to hear you're bouncing back from health issues, following medical advice.

That was neat. I love seeing animals of all sorts as they play or move around in their own environment without fear. We watch for them also. Soon they'll migrate up the coast but saw none this week when down there. Some stay in the Oregon waters year round, I guess, but most move up and down the coast for breeding and raising the calves.

OUTSTANDING video! How about the way the little one (a mere 2,000 pounds maybe?) discovers that tail-slapping the ocean is FUN. Whee! He slaps the water over and over again.
