We have friends in Boulder. Their homes and businesses have been flooded. One had minor flooding in the basement but is OK. Another friend's business had a foot of standing water in the basement. His house was flooded up to the first floor. He says Boulder is "trashed."
Some family members who were at Bettie and Jerry's anniversary in Vancouver live somewhere between Boulder and Colorado Springs. I have been looking at their Facebook page but so far no news. They have four kids, a big house and a thriving business. They had put the house on the market, I don't know why. What are their chances of selling now? How will their business do?
Mary's husband, Jim, has a place up in the Colorado mountains, and he has some property he wants to sell. Again what are the chances now? I don't even know whether there is road access any more.
This is Colorado's New Orleans.
