Cloudia: Fortuitous. It was still twilight, and the clouds had dimmed the moon down so that I could get this interesting shot.

Great picture. Recently, I saw a crescent moon with Venus bright as a button nearby, but my cell phone camera was not up to the task of reproducing it exactly as I saw it.

My Coolpix P100 is a champ. It is basically a point and shoot, but it has a lot of excellent features for such an easy to use camera. The lens has a fair amount of spherical aberration, but I think that makes for interesting pix. The world is full of boring, perfect and artsy photography, and I don't have to add my pixels to that.

good photo. We also photographed it and will try again tonight when it's totally full. A full moon is always a challenge.

Hey! What a coincidence. We had a beautiful full moon here too. :-)

Rain: Mostly luck on this one. The sky was bright enough and the moon was dim enough.
Ingineer: Think you'll have another full moon tonight?

I just looked out my window to see the Harvest Moon. It is definitely beautiful.

I tried to get a shot last night but couldn't get a good one.
