Edward Hopperesque view across the street from the condo in the early morning light. When I am in Hilo I dream of light like this and of cityscapes. When I am in Seattle I dream of tropical plants, fish and whales and turtles and warmth and surf.

I am so pleased that an old friend of mine who lives on the coast has figured out a way to come visit me tomorrow. We will have so much to talk over. We need to discuss a friend who I can't find out anything about. She was one of my profs at Portland State and very important to me at one time.
Going to a play this eve. with my daughter. We have one more weekend and will return to Hilo on Monday. Saturday night is the annual Crab Fest at the Norwegian Hall! I'm so excited to be able to attend this event, as we did last year.
