Friends coming over for lunch, so just a quick note.
In the previous post I wanted to show people what a person looks like who has just had a big jolt of chemo. I'm much better today, eating and sleeping well, friends coming over for lunch.
I posted a shot today, but took it down because Terry says it's not me. He will try to take a better one, then.
Here are a couple Terry took. A lot better, I confess, than the one I did. Isn't he sweet?
See? Now stop being afraid of that chemo! Without it I would be dead!
Terry takes good photos. Thank him for me, please. You are looking better.

My friend Poole isn't doing so well on her Chemo. You do look wonderful when you smile. :)

I'm being very carefully treated and monitored, and results are far better than anyone expected for someone of my age and with such a far progressed cancer. Every day is a gift.

I had an infusion that has platinum in it and it really whacked me good. But I seem to be pretty resilient, all right. One thing that helps a lot is that the anti-nausea drugs they have these days are very effective. A lot of the horror stories around chemo even a few years ago had to do with dreadful bouts of vomiting and diarrhea, but I haven't had any of that.

Like that smile & seems to be a twinkle in your eyes. So glad you're not having some of those more unpleasant chemo effects. Glad you could enjoy visit from friends.

I'm so happy to see you smiling. And I'm glad the chemo is doing its job though it's hard on the system.
